Individual Therapy

I provide 60-minute individual sessions. All sessions are done virtually, which means you can do them from wherever feels safest and most comfortable for you. I am an integrative therapist and tailor treatment to the individual based on their goals, needs, and readiness.

My treatment modalities include:

  • Humanistic Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Harm Reduction

  • Trauma-Focused Therapy

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

  • Existential Therapy

  • Grief Therapy

I am willing to explore other modalities and intervention techniques with individual clients, as I recognize that we all have different ways of getting where we want to be.

Clinical Areas of Focus

I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma and violence. This includes adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, neglect, and violence, as well as survivors of sexual assault, and survivors of domestic violence. I also provide care for people who have experienced narcissistic abuse from a partner or family member, as well as religious trauma.

Additionally, I work with people who have lost a loved one to sudden tragic death, such as homicide, suicide, overdose, illness, or accident, and those working through unresolved grief.

Much of my therapeutic work also involves working with marginalized communities. This includes supporting sex workers, providing therapy to people who use drugs, working with people living with HIV, and providing quality and affirming care to the LGBTQIA+ community. I am a sex-positive therapist.

Emotional Support Animal Evaluation and Documentation

I am able to provide evaluation and documentation for Emotional Support Animals (ESA) in the state of North Carolina.

This process includes a formal evaluation to better understand how your current animal, or future animal, may serve as an ESA. Emotional Support Animals are used to help alleviate symptoms associated with a mental health diagnosis, therefore a formal evaluation is necessary. ESAs are not Psychiatric Service Animals.

Please read on to learn more about ESAs to familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations in North Carolina.
